Fall

Clearly I have been busy since the beginning of August...Halloween is ALMOST here! So much has been happening, Kaitlyn loves 1st grade and is doing very well in school, of course not without with a little help from Anthony and I. Kaitlyn has also started in soccer and she is good at it, she looks so dang cute in her soccer uniform. Samantha, she is my pistol, she is so full of energy, and wants to do everything herself. She keeps our hands very full. She is little Miss Bossy and will tell on you in a heartbeat, but I love her so much! Halloween is coming and last night we went and got the girls costumes, after having her heartbroken that the Hannah Montana costumes were gone at the Disney Store, she settled on Sleeping Beauty Costume. She looks extremely cute in the costume. Samantha is stubborn and I am not sure where she gets that from, but I tried to get her to dress like Belle from Beauty and the Beast, but her favorite Princess is Cinderella, so that is the costume of the year. Myself I am going as a TMNT...specifically Donatello. Everyone in the department I work in, which is 3 other girls, are dressing up as each of the turtles. Why TMNT? Because our department name is APRIL and well APRIL O'Neil is the girl from the show. So yuppers...but enough about Halloween, Christmas is just around the corner and I can NOT wait!!! I am getting out the tree November 1st. Anthony and I both started back at school and that is keep us extra busy. We also just finished the entire series of Everybody Loves Raymond...I totally recommend it to EVERYONE! All right, it's Saturday night, I need to finish Math and get ready for bed! Love to ALL!

Last weekend before school!

It's Friday night and I am busy! Today started off as taking the girls to the doctor for their well child check ups and then went to see my mom at the hotel and go swimming. We even got see an old family friend that I have seen in years. So we got home from the hotel in time to watch our Friday ritual...Wizards of Waverly Place on Disney Channel. Now it's quarter to 10 and I am getting Kaitlyn ready for school on Monday. We met her teacher on Thursday. Mrs. Pachek is her name and Kaitlyn seems really excited for school. Also Kaitlyn went to her friend, Kirstin's house on Thursday to swim and make your own pizza. Kirstin was supposed to be in Kaitlyn's class but she is going to go to Benjamin Franklin Charter School...makes me want to put Kaitlyn there because she really likes Kirstin, or maybe because I really like Helen. I feel as though the parents to the kids at the school don't like to talk to me because I am not in my 30s almost 40s. Just because I am younger doesn't mean that I don't want my child talking to your child. I want Kaitlyn to make so many friends. Also she is going to be in soccer this fall. YEAH!! I can't believe that Kaitlyn is starting 1st grade on Monday... :( She has soooo many clothes that I am trying to figure out where I am going to put them all. Anthony cleaned out both girl's dresser and pulled out anything that doesn't fit them, but apparently Kaitlyn's dresser is still packed. THEN I took all of the clothes that are on hangers in her closet to go through them and pack up the ones that don't fit anymore to make room for the new ones. This years theme is Hannah Montana. I love school and buying the school supplies. So much is going on this past week...Samantha turning 3 and getting Kaitlyn ready for school. Alright...I am off to get what I can done before tomorrow...we are going to the inlaws for Samantha's and Nick's birthday party and I have A LOT to do so that on Sunday I can just veg out with the family! Night

Samantha's Third Birthday

It's Sunday and the house is quiet...kids and Anthony are sleeping and I am awake downstairs watching Ghostbusters 2. Yesterday was Samantha's Third Birthday Party! We had a BLAST! The theme was Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, we had pizza, Baked Caprese Salad, and the cake was from Cathy's Rum Cake! The cake was vanilla with chocolate chip custer in the middle of the cake. My parents were there, so was my brother, Anthony's brothers, Heather and her son Nathan, Sara, Roxanne, Jake, Ryliegh, and Sara Nick's Girlfriend. Samantha got so much stuff...I think her favorite gift was a tie between Bolt the Stuff Animal and the Minnie Mouse Vacuum that Kaitlyn picked out for her. Samantha was so exhausted that she fell asleep at the table tonight sitting in her chair. It was so cute. Kaitlyn is sleeping in my bed right now so I am going to need to move her before I go to sleep. I am off from work until Tuesday and then I am off Friday and Monday of next week so I can take the kids to the doctors for a check up and for Kaitlyn's first day of 1st grade. We got everything that she will need for school. Shoes, Hannah Montana lunch box, clothes, etc. She is really excited. Also she is going to her friend's house on Thursday for lunch and swimming and I know that she is excited for that as well. My mom is also coming out again this coming weekend...can't wait to see her again...she's the best! I can't believe how quickly the girls are growing up...Samantha is just the best and Kaitlyn is getting bigger and smarter before my eyes. Also this past week was my dad's birthday...we got him a couple of games and a case for his Nintendo DS. I am glad I am off tomorrow since it is actually Samantha's Birthday but I can get organized for the house and school...I have everything I just need to figure out where I need to put everything...we almost need a bigger place to live, but Anthony is convinced that I just need to get rid of stuff, but that is so hard to do. Alright, I am off to bed!

Hanging with the kids

It's Sunday and it's been a busy week. Work has been interesting busy keeping tabs of what I do through out the day. Anthony, Kaitlyn and I went to see the new Harry Potter Movie on Wednesday while Samantha went to over to her grandmas for a couple of hours. I LOVED the movie...I can't wait until the next one. :) I went to the dentist on Friday and got some cavities filled...and I had them give me the GAS...I love the Gas and it made me feel so happy! Anyway, so yesterday Kaitlyn and her friend Kirstin over to play for a few hours and then she went to the pool and played with Gloria...she is a busy kid and is getting excited for school. Samantha is just being Samantha who marches to her own tune. I am trying to get her to understand about cleaning up after herself...because she thinks Kaitlyn is her puppy...so it's going pretty well. My inlaws are up in California enjoying themselves and will be back next Saturday. Samantha picked her theme for her birthday...Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. so I got the invites and I am going to mail them out tomorrow. Antony and I played a card game last night...hoping for a lighting show from the monsoon storm, but nothing just wind...oh well...Alright so today is a relaxing day of playing with the kids and cooking. :)

Weekend

So this weekend went by quickly...it started with going out for Happy Hour with Sara, Heather, and some of Heather's friends. Saturday was a rough day...I went to the dentist for a cleaning...I don't like the dentist...oh well. While I was at the dentist Anthony took the kids to his mom's and came back for me. We went to San Tan Mall on one of the hottest days of the year...113 isn't that bad...so we went there to make a Build A Bear for Samantha's 3rd birthday, which is August 3rd, however, the Disney Store was before BAB so we stopped there. We got her an oversize Bolt stuff animal, an oversize Minnie Mouse Stuff animal, a swimsuit, a dress, some disney plates, and disney silverware. THEN we went to BAB and made her this really cute bear. After that Anthony and I went to see The Hangover. I already saw it once and it was really funny so Anthony and I saw it together. PLUS we are going this week to see Harry Potter!! I have been waiting for this movie since last November. So today is Sunday and I don't plan on going anywhere today except to Target this morning to get some of Kaitlyn's school supplies for 1st grade that starts on August 10th. Alright, I am off because I need to change Sammie's diaper...I can't wait for her to potty train...things will be a lot easier.

First Blog...

Okay....So this is my first blog on blog spot...I am hoping that I can keep up with this with News about the Family...So the Family, well there is Anthony, my hubby, Kaitlyn, who is 6 and Samantha who turns 3 on August 3rd. Having kids is awesome...I love my daughters so much. So Anthony is my stay at home dad with the kids and I work Full Time for OPENLANE, which is an online auto auction for dealerships. Despite the current economic times, business is good! We moved back into the Islands 2 years ago so that Kaitlyn and Samantha can go to the school that Anthony and I went to. No Anthony and I are not high school sweethearts, but we met through someone we went to high school with. We eloped to Las Vegas back in Novemeber of 2000. It was a bit of shock to both families when they found out. So we moved around the East Valley A LOT: Mesa, Chandler, East Mesa, Queen Creek, and finally we ended up back in Gilbert and I NEVER want to leave...EVER. We don't have any pets, because well the kids are enough. We LOVE to watch movies...since we don't have a babysitter we rent A LOT of movies. I don't mind because I love spending time with Anthony and the kids. Anyway, it's about 9:15 pm and I need to finish picking up the house and get ready for work tomorrow. Another long day, but it's Friday tomorrow and I am supposed to be going to girls night tomorrow, but still waiting on the details.
